Big Data Benchmarking

The Big Data Benchmarking Community (BDBC) is an informal grouping of individuals and organizations interested in the big data benchmarking topic, formed as a result of the meetings and discussions held during the First Big Data Benchmarking Workshop (WBDB2012), in May 2012.

Members of this community are interested in furthering activities towards the development of industry-standard benchmarks for big data, along the lines of the discussions and outcomes from the WBDB2012 workshop. These benchmarks would model "end-to-end" scenarios for big data, and would cover different data genres, e.g. graphs, streams, unstructured data, structured records, etc.
